Who We Are
A dedicated team of local community members with vast experience in agriculture, sanitation, hygiene and administration. Our goal is to empower women and girls economically, socially and spiritually.
To improve the well-being of local communities, through raising level of awareness, advancing innovative grassroots initiatives to recognize, empower and support the vulnerable and marginalized groups (especially women and the girl child).
WNSP was founded in 2010 to work with local communities towards improvement of their well-being.
Focus on Women and young girls
Our focus is to address inequalities and other challenges faced by women and the girl child.
What We Do
Our focus is on women’s advocacy for health, food security, water safety, hygiene, sustainable financial practices, and emotional and spiritual empowerment.
The Women’s Nutrition and Sanitation Program (WNSP) began as a way to teach proper nutrition and sanitation for women in Uganda. It is now grown further as a means to educate and emopower these women further lead and support their community.
