Meet Peter Otim, he is the PDM Sacco chairperson of Baronger parish and a resident of this area. The CASCADE program opened his eyes and taught him a lot. Before attending the training, his children used to look sickly and malnourished. After the training he began to shift their eating habits to eating all the different varieties of foods and everyone’s health improved. He and his wife also took a PDM loan and started rearing chickens and bought a cow. After some time, the chickens started giving them eggs that they would sell and consume for their family as well. They are also taking milk from the cow which allowed them to improve on their dietary and eating practices.
