During the conference Dr. Mira Matembe, provided training on roles and responsibilities in a family for both men, women and children. This raised much discussion, as the luo culture does not allow men to do most of the household work. Through this training the attendees learned the importance of working together as a husband and a wife in a family to bring growth and collaboration.
