I was ignorant about

the benefits of vegetables…”

WNSP women led supported groups are tackling malnutrition through kitchen gardens.

What they grow in excess, they can preserve or sell the surplus to supplement your income however small the returns may be. This has helped them save regularly in their VSLA (Village Savings and Loan).

Ketty (left) says that she depends on the these kitchen garden vegetables as a foundation for her family’s meals . “Before WNSP supported gardens I was ignorant about the benefits of vegetables.” says Wilson (middle), “but now we have vegetables at every meal, and this has boosted our health. We are stronger and healthier because of the balanced diet involving vegetables full of vitamins.”
